24/7 365 Days of Art

The 2 Gallery spaces produced by the CGAF endeavor to exhibit the work of talented emerging and mid career artists as well as master artists in a multitude of genres and media. From one man shows to group shows, this space welcomes and nourishes both artists and those who look for guidance in starting an art collection for their home/business or for those who want to buy a wonderful piece of art that calls to them.

With the 2010 opening of its second space, the Hunter Gallery, the association announced it had achieved one of its major goals – launching a visiting artist-in-residence program. During the year various artists will be carefully chosen and supplied with a workspace inside the gallery walls in order to encourage their creativity and productivity, 2 major challenges for artists with out space to work in.

The CGAF and Hunter Gallery galleries, housed in the beautiful Mayfair atrium, are active members of the Coconut Grove Art Walk program, held the first Saturday of each month from 7pm to 10pm. Each gallery in the Grove opens it's doors wide and invites art lovers and those who want to enjoy art to join them for good music, a glass of wine, some nibbles, and a lot of art viewing.....we know you will make new friends and have a wonderful time.

The Association also sponsors outreach programs such as the Visiting Artists Program during the weeks leading up to the Festival, and scholarship opportunities for those students graduating from arts magnet programs in Miami-Dade County during the month of May.
